To talk about our family, we are originally from a village called Agashi, near Virar in the Thane district of Maharashtra, India.

This chapter belongs to the third generation..the cousins of the family.

Although the website is named 'Agaskars' (more of a domain name capturing effort) it relates to the whole Clan across the direct families of our Aunts & Cousin Sisters, who have married and now fall under different Surname heads. So now the Agaskars Clan umbrella includes the Kelkar, Dighe, Tawde, Shah, Seth, Sawant, Bhat, Pawar families and the list simply goes on...plus the families whose females have married into our family and their cousins and so on....The oldest family member being, our grandmother, Mrs. Rukmini Agaskar.

This website is an effort to create a networking platform for all us cousins....outsiders may be uninterested in the family matters posted here on the website, but there is lots to read and see here, sure enough to make this site an entertainment base to touch!
