T-Shirt Wars (Swaroop Agaskar)

After a long time I saw a good college tshirt, belonged to Fergusson college

" FERGUSSIANS: DOWN TO EARTH, BUT ABOVE YOU ALL"

Sir JJ used to have good ones, back when I was there I dont know now. But there was a wonderful campaign we did on tshirt against St Xaviers, when first time in the history of Malhar, (The intercollegiate event) Sir JJ College of Architecture won the overall trophy......no one except the hosts had won it all those years, the hosts?..St xaviers, so much was the partiality to xaviers it was amazing we still won, goes to show the talent we had.....if it had been the entire Sir JJ....Archi, fine arts and commercial together..we would have eaten them ten times over..and we won three years in a row....talk off adding insult to injury...and the typical Sir JJ band playing on the famous Xaviers Basket ball court with Dhol and all dancing and celebrating victory was more than Xaviers could take.

just b4 malhar, the next year.....Xavierites took a procession thru our college....."last year was a fluke, this year we will make you puke" they chanted...the boys got to our heads....xaviers girls we didnt mind then...lol..who in bombay would..


so we made t-shirts for 10 days..i dont remeber all..

Day 1: JJites: Make way Xaviers, the kings are here
Day 2: JJites: Dont make way Xaviers, we want to steamroll you.
Day 3: JJites: even treachery cant keep us down Xaviers
Day 4: JJites: Xaviers, we warned you, JJites are dynamites (i know NMites stole that one, we had that since 25 years)
Day 5: JJites: Xaviers, you can neither beat us, nor can you join us
Day 6: JJites: Xaviers, american accents dont always win, JJites do
now i dont remember the rest and even if i do, not intrested in telling you all more ...we used to make the Tshirts..55 in all a day b4 making sure we were leading at the end of the day....lol..

But i cant forget the one on the last day..it said:

" IF LAST YEAR WAS JUST A FLUKE,
IF THIS YEAR YOU WANTED TO MAKE US PUKE,
THIS YEAR WE STILL WON,
SO XAVIERS, WE DONT CARE A F***"
